The stool fire grate is a classic bowed fire grate with four legs and a raised front to stop fuel spilling forward. The fire grate is available in four sizes, classified as 12", 14", 16" and 18". Please note: the size options of the stool grate refer to the classification of the fireplace, i.e a 16" stool fire grate only measures 14 3/4", this is so it fits into the 16" opening with some room for expansion when the grate is hot. We have provided the exact sizes (imperial and metric) below to help you order the correct fire grate for your fireplace. Please check the sizes before ordering.
