It is possible to purchase a separate set of tongs, there are a wide variety of fireside tongs available such as log tongs which that make easy work of moving logs. These are particularly helpful where the logs are quite dirty.

 Fireside Pokers can be bought separately we do recommend a poker with a log roller already on it. Match holders are a good way to store longer matches available in a similar style and colour to the other fireplace accessories. You may also consider keeping fire bellows nearby to give the flames a boost when necessary.
