Box of 6 sachets of Mulled Wine Spice
Adds Warmth & Flavour
A blend of crushed spices including coriander seed, allspice and nutmeg.
Mulled Wine suggestion
75cl bottle red wine
200ml (7fl oz) orange juice
3tbs brown sugar
2 shwartz Mulled wine Spice Sachets
150ml (1/4 pint) brandy
1 orange, sliced
Place wine, orange juice, sugar and Mulled Wine Spice sachets in a large saucepan. Heat to just below boiling point and hold this temperature for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove sachets. Stir in brandy and orange slices.
Makes approx 1.1 litres (2 pints)
For a warming non-alchohlic alternative, add a sachet to 1 litre of cranberry juice, heat as above then remove sachet and serve garnished with orange slices.
