These terms and conditions apply to the use of this Fireside Shop website. Please read through the terms and conditions. If you do not agree with them do not use the web site. If you do access the website, and/or place an order, you thereby agree to be bound by these terms and conditions set out below.
How to order: All orders can be placed online through the website. Please do not e-mail your card details. No responsibility can be taken for the security of your details if given this way. All orders subject to availability.
Method of payment: You can pay by Visa, Master Card, Switch, Maestro& Electron through the website or cheque or postal order via post. When paying by card it is imperative that you provide the cardholder’s name as it appears on the card, and address of the cardholder as it appears on the statement. No responsibility can be taken by The Fireside Shop for incorrect or incomplete details submitted on the website. Orders without this information will not be successfully processed. Card fraud is illegal and perpetrators will be prosecuted in all cases.
Out of Stock: In the unlikely event that an item you have ordered is out of stock you will be contacted via e- mail or post and given the option of holding the item on back order or cancelling your order.
We get authorisation from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details and stock availability. Your card will be debited for goods that are in stock and ready for dispatch. Goods are subject to availability. In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this via e-mail or post as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.
Pricing: The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order apart from the following exceptions:
While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods you will receive a full refund.
Delivery: Goods will be delivered to UK mainland only as stated in our delivery information section on the web site. We aim to deliver goods in stock as quickly as possible however if you require a guaranteed delivery date please contact the shop to arrange this.
The maximum period for delivery of stock items would be 14 days, unless specifically agreed with the customer.
Return of goods policy: Goods can be returned for a full refund (including delivery costs) if they are faulty or if the wrong item has been dispatched within 14 days of receipt of goods. If you require to do this please e-mail with details of the fault or ring the shop on 0191 2858036.
If the goods have been dispatched as ordered but are unwanted they can be returned to us within 3 months of the purchase order for repayment or exchange. Any delivery charges incurred are non –repayable. The goods must be unused, have their original packaging and labelling, and be accompanied by the original delivery note. Nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer. The card used for the original purchase will be credited for the amount due.
Errors and Omissions: We strive to keep our website accurate, up to date and error free. However, whilst every effort has been made to make them so. No responsibility can be accepted for errors and omissions. We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.

Any details which you provide to us from which we can identify you are held and processed lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection act1998.

When an order is placed we will request information from the user as required. Here a user must provide contact information (like name, shipping address, landline telephone number) and financial information (like credit card number, expiry date) this information is used for billing purposes and to contact customers in case of difficulty in processing an order
We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill for goods and services. Details of these companies may be obtained by writing to the Fireside Shop.
Security: This website takes precautions to protect users information. When sensitive information is submitted via the website, that information is encrypted and is protected with SSL. The servers on which we store personal information are kept in a secure environment.
