This product is perfect for the rejuvination of tired-looking gas coals , giving them a new lease of life.  When applied, it gives a matt black finish, which is heat resistant to over 1250°F (approx. 650°C).  The product is easy to apply, and requires only two thin coats, which should be enough to achieve an excellent standard of finish.

Directions for use

For best results it is recommended that painting is done outdoors or in a well ventilated shed or garage away from items that can be effected by paint drift. To prevent inhilation wear a suitable mask.

• Allow the fire to cool before carefully removing the coals
• Remove loose paint, dust and debris with a brush and ensure the surfaces are dry before commencing painting
• Spread out coals onto an old newspaper
• Before spraying shake can vigourously  for one minute and again between bursts.
• Spray over thinly. Two thin coats are more effective than one thick coat. Alow at least 2-3 hours between coats.
• After use invert can and spray for a few seconds to clear the nozzle.
• If painting is performed in situ, carefully mask over pilot light assembly and any surrounding fitments that do not require painting. Lay covers over furniture and carpets.

Occasional highlights appear which will enhance the appearance of the coals
